Valentine's Day is a good time to book your favorite babysitter and spend time reconnecting with your partner without the kids around. Parenting is hard work and it can be easy to get caught up in the daily household and kid-centered tasks. Happy parents are better parents and sometimes taking time away from the kids is the best thing you can do for yourselves and them. That said, babysitters can be hard to find on Valentine's Day Weekend and sometimes romance has to wait until a more convenient time. When we don't have a babysitter but still need to entertain the kids, my husband and I look for destinations we haven't visited before or places that we find as interesting as the children. If the kids are occupied, we get a chance to talk while we watch them play and may even hold hands as we follow behind them. Here are some places to go with your family on this special weekend:
